Samsung Galaxy S6 Release Date, Rumors: Launch at MWC in March 2015?

South Korean mobile phone company Samsung is arguably dominating the Android market these days. With the recent revelation of the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the even more recent Samsung Galaxy Note 4, things seem to be only getting better for Samsung.

Instead of taking a break from brainstorming and innovation, Samsung is apparently hard at work, as they are already being pegged with rumors about an upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 model.

Customers should expect the new, full-metal cased S6 a month earlier than the usual revelation at the Mobile World Congress that is usually held every April. However, according to a report revealed by Korean newspaper Daum, Samsung is currently planning to roll out its next-gen device in March 2015.

On that note, it is not confirmed that the device will be revealed in March as there are only speculations about its official release date. Tech Radar has speculated that "from the Samsung Galaxy S2 onwards, the company has always announced its phones at or close to MWC [Mobile World Congress], and we're certain the same will hold true for the Galaxy S6".

The next MWC is set to take place from March 2-5 in 2015.

Beyond that, Tech Radar speculates that the device may actually go on sale in April, which syncs to the Galaxy S4 and S5, which both went on sale in April 2013 and 2014 respectively.

Currently there are no official reports or announcements that consumers can follow from right now concerning the release date for the S6. As for the price, there are no price ranges that are available, but it's likely to be rather expensive.
