Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge News, Specs Rumors: New Device to Give Apple iPhone 6 Tough Competition?
The endless speculation as to what users can expect from the new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge relentlessly continues, and it has only been fueled by the phone company's new ad.
"I am crafted from the beautiful things I see around me," the ad begins, "They shape who I am. I am #TheNextGalaxy."
The ad suggests that the shape of the S6 Edge is what will differentiate it from its twin, the S6, and the previous models.
The two phones will be made out of the same material and feature the same specs, "and will be entirely out of glass and aluminum, and will feature cutting-edge specs including a quad HD display, a 64-bit octa-core processor, a 20-megapixel rear camera, up to 128GB of internal storage, a brand new mobile payment system based on LoopPay, and Android Lollipop," writes BGR.
The real question as to if the new model has the capacity to beat out its rival, the iPhone 6 Plus, is still up for heavy debate.
So far it is believed that the two phones will share a very similar screen size and build, but the S6 edge, may have the upper hand in specs.
"Apple has managed to build over the years. But when Samsung has managed to build smart phones that offer more features for less money the trend may be expected to change. With the S6 expected to debut the market at a cheaper price than the retail price of the iPhone 6 Plus, Apple is looking at some serious drop in its market share. Based on the leaked specs and features of the S6, I think it is safe to say that the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S6 is going to be a spotlight stealer which is all set to give Apple a run for its money," writes Galaxy6Samsung.
However, the price of the new model hasn't yet been disclosed.
