Samsung Galaxy S4 vs iPhone 5 vs HTC One: Specs, Features, Camera / Side By Side Comparison / Apple No Longer King?
I get it. There's a lot of smartphones on the market these days. Should I get the iPhone 5? What about the new Galaxy S4? I heard those were nice!
For all of you drowning in the choices here's a concise comparison between the Samsung Galaxy S4, the Apple iPhone 5 and the HTC One; easily to top 3 phones out today.
Obviously Apple and Samsung get most of the credit for the iPhone 5 and Galaxy S4, but let me tell you, the HTC One is making strides and taking names. The HTC One has a 4.7-inch Super LCD HD display boasting 468 pixels per inch, easily better than Apple's Retina Display found on the iPhone 5 [326 ppi].
The HTC One also had largest dimensions of the three phones.
Samsung Galaxy S4: 70 x 137, 7.9mm thick, 130g weight.
Apple iPhone 5: 59 x 124, 7.6mm thick, 112g weight.
HTC One: 68 x 137, 9.3mm thick, 143g weight.
Processor:
Samsung Galaxy S4: 1.9GHz, quad-core, 2GB RAM
Apple iPhone 5: 1.3GHz, dual core, 1GB RAM
HTC One: 1.7GHz, quad-core, 2GB RAM
Camera:
Samsung Galaxy S4: 13 megapixel rear-facing camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 1080p video.
Apple iPhone 5: 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera, 1080p/720p rear/front video.
HTC One: 4 megapixel (Ultrapixel) rear-facing camera, 2.1 megapixel camera, 1080p video.
What about software? Obviously comparing Android to iOS is apples and bananas, so I won't bother. It all comes down to what suits you best. My advice, go to the mall and try out all of the phones. Feel them in your hand. Surf through some menus and figure out what fits your style.
