Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Release Date, Specs Rumors: Device To Arrive In Q3 2016 With 256GB UFS 2.0 Memory Chip?

Along with its specifications, Samsung's Galaxy Note 6 is rumored to be launched in the third quarter of 2016. Also, Samsung has announced 256GB UFS 2.0 memory chip, which can be used in the upcoming Note 6.

According to Value Walk, the Galaxy Note 6 will appear prior to the IFA starts in September if Samsung follows its previously set schedules for its Galaxy Note product line. Hence, it suggests that the upcoming Samsung mobile flagship will be launched in August.

As per Christian Today, the aforementioned timeline was the path the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+ took in 2015. Thus, it is not impossible for the Galaxy Note 6 to follow the same timeline. Following the pattern, the Galaxy Note 6 can be released alongside Samsung's Galaxy S7 Edge+, as per the publication.

The specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is set to be the same as the features of Samsung Galaxy S7. The sixth note iteration is rumored to transition from a 5.7-inch super AMOLED screen to a 5.8-inch Slim RGB AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 resolution. Its camera is set to be the same as the 12-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera of Samsung Galaxy S7, just with an additional Super OIS Plus feature

Samsung also announced that it has mass-produced 256GB UFS 2.0 memory chips, as per Phone Arena. According to the publication, the memory chips are aimed at the company's high-end smartphones at some point in the future. The 256GB chip is capable of performing sequential reads at up to 850MB per second, which indicates a turbo speed data transfer.

While the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 shares some features with the Samsung Galaxy S7, it is assumed that Samsung will consider some changes in its design. Presumably, this is to prevent another negative reaction by fans when it released similar looking Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6.
