Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Release Date, Specs, News, Rumors: Newest Phablet Arriving Sooner Than Expected?

Rumors about the looming release date for the Samsung Galaxy Note have been circulating on the web, but there could be some basis for all the talks surrounding the latest phablet from the South Korean company.

With analysts saying that smart phone devices have almost identical specs that it's no longer about which companies offer the most modern tech, but rather how fast they can roll out the units. Samsung, according to Bloomberg, suffered a 1% decline in market share for the first two months of the year against the same number in 2015.

However, sales for its S7 have outpaced the Samsung Galaxy S6.

Neil Mawston, executive director of Strategy Analytics, expected that the release date for the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 may be sooner than expected as Samsung tries to ride the wave of the S7's popularity.

"We expect Samsung's Galaxy S7 to be the world's best-selling Android smartphone in 2016," he told Bloomberg. "We expect Samsung to release the Note 6 a month or two before the Apple iPhone 7, to try and grab that window of opportunity."

As to the specs of the Samsung Galaxy Note 6, one that stands out is its 6GB of RAM and potentially a batter of 4000mAh or more, said Android Central. its' not yet clear if it's going to run on the Exynos 8 Octa chip or Snapdragon 820 silicon chip as suggested by rumors.

According to the South Korean publication, The Bell, as shared by Techno Buffalo, the release date for the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 could be as early as July.

Techno Buffalo said that the South Korean company typically releases the Note in September, although the Galaxy Note 6 was rolled out in August, so the rumors about Samsung pushing up the release date for the Galaxy Note 6 may have some basis.
