Samsung Galaxy Note 5 News: U.S. Carriers Announce Price, Preorder and Availability

South Korean tech titan Samsung unveiled the highly anticipated Galaxy Note 5 along with the Galaxy S6 Edge+ at an "Unpacked" press event in New York on Thursday, Aug. 13. In the meantime, it is reported that various U.S. carriers have already begun announcing their respective plans for the new handset, reports IB Times.

Information regarding the price and availability of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 from carriers like AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile are provided below.

AT&T

GSM Arena reports that AT&T will make the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 availe via Next 24, 18 and 12 plans. The carrier will be offering 32 GB as well as 64 GB storage variants of the latest Samsung flagship smartphone. As far as the price of the Galaxy Note 5 is concerned, the 32 GB model is expected to cost $24.67, $30.84 and $37 under Next 24, 18 and 12 plans, respectively. Customers can also purchase the device outright for $739.99.

The carrier will be offering the 64 GB variant of Samsung Galaxy Note for $28, $35 and $42 under Next 24, 18 and 12 plans, respectively. The price without is $839.99. Moreover, customers will also be able to buy the Galaxy Note 5 by trading in their older handset for up to $200.

Sprint

Currently, Sprint is offering a trade-in deal with a "guaranteed $200 minimum credit." In addition, customers will also get a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 for free if they sign a new two-year contract. In terms of price, the 32 GB variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 can be availed for $25, $30 and $249.99 under Lease, Easy Pay and 2-year contract options, respectively. The device can be acquired for $720 without contract.

On the other hand, the 64 GB variant of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 can be availed for $30, $34, $349.99 and $812 under Lease, Easy Pay, 2-year contract and off-contract options, respectively.

T-Mobile

According to reports, T-Mobile is selling the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 under the JUMP! On Demand plan. Customers who place orders for the device before Aug. 20 can seemingly avail a year of free Netflix. It is important to note that T-Mobile will only sell the 32 GB variant of the Galaxy Note 5 and it can be bought for $29.17 under the 24 monthly payment plan. The device can also be availed for $699.99 contract-free.
