Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Specs, Release Date Rumors: New Device to Launch in Q3 2015?
While the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is still warming up on the market, rumors about Samsung Galaxy Note 5 have surfaced which slate it for a release later this year.
The release of the Note 4 had been a great success for Samsung's phablet line-up. This is despite the initial feedback from the consumers regarding Samsung's excessive need to conquer all sizes. However, the public has generally accepted this current trend. With Apple submerging themselves as phablet competition with their new iPhone 6, Samsung would not go back down on this challenge.
According to Christian Post, the speculations for the display for Galaxy Note 5 would involve an ante or super AMOLED display which was in the Note 4 and would have a 4K resolution on a 5.9 inch frame. Since the high-powered display would take up much of the devices battery, it is possible that the batter would be amped up to 4000 mAH to cover the need.
The Galaxy Note 5 may have a virtual reality feature to be paired with a VR headset to compete with the Oculus Rift. What's more is that it would have a TouchID function like Apple's Force Touch technology. Plus, a retinal scan security could be in the works.
For those that may not know, the Samsung VR headset was first unveiled in the IFA 2014.
The back end camera is believed to have a 20 MP resolution and a front camera jumping to 5 MP. Certain concepts have been apparent online especially a rotating camera.
New details of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 being sold at a wallet-friendly price of $199.99 is up on Best Buy with a two-year contract on monthly installment paid subscriptions with AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon. This also includes a $100 Gift Card. This has been the lowest deal for the device since it was released.
