Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Release Date & Specs Rumors: Device to Feature 4K Display?

A lot of Samsung users are already hyped up for the rumored Samsung Galaxy Note 5 release date which several speculate will fall in September 2015, just in time for the Mobile World Congress.

Many have been speculating that the event is perfect for Samsung to premiere one of its most awaited products for there is only one thing to expect of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, which is its big upgrade. Not only for the sleek curved screen design but also the improved internal specs.

According to reports, Note 5 will have some similarity with the Galaxy Note Edge render as it will feature a curved screen on both sides. It is definitely something to look forward to. Even before its release, several have already speculated that Note 5 will more likely be competing with Apple's iPhone 7.

Although Apple has still to confirm if there will be an iPhone 7 coming anytime soon or they will be releasing an iPhone 6s. it is still in the dark, meanwhile Note 5 has a lot of competition it would only depend on the release date of the gadgets.

The rumored specs for Note 5 include a 5.9-inch 4K display, 4 GB of RAM, 19 MP main camera, 4.7 MP front snapper, 3,700mAh battery and an octa-core processor clocked at 3.2GHz. It's definitely a big upgrade and is eyed to be a good purchase.

According to reports, Note 5 is the first of its kind. Apparently, it is the first to boast Samsung's 4K AMOLED screen. The screen was reportedly 6 inches (diagonally) housing 743ppi.

Rumors also suggest that the new Note 5 will be featuring an Exynos 7420 chipset, which would have four Cortex-A57 cores and four Cortex-A53. But of course, the specs and release date is still up for confirmation.
