The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is one of the year's most anticipated handheld devices and for good reason. The South Korean tech company has been a leading competitor in the phablet market for a number of years now, and this new handset is looking to continue that.

"According to early reports, the Galaxy Note 5 release date will take place in Q3 2015. While this is hardly surprising, what might grab your attention are claims the handset will become the first smartphone to feature a 3840 x 2160 pixel Ultra HD, 4K display," writes Trusted Reviews.

The impressive claim on the phone's display is not the only thing to for consumers to rave about. The Note 5's processor is suspected to also be state of the art.

"With Android 5.0 Lollipop - the likely OS of choice for the Note 5 at launch - bringing 64-bit CPU support to the Android platform, the Note 5 is expected to run either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 815 processor or a newer, as yet unconfirmed chipset," writes Trusted Reviews.

There is no set price on the phone as of yet, but from the Note 4's starting price, we can expect for the Note 5 to begin around £650 or roughly $950.
