There are occasions when small things make more differences that we generally think. Keeping this in view, South Korean tech manufacturer Samsung plans to make small changes in its upcoming Galaxy Note 5. The company hopes that these changes will delight the customers by improving their user experience.
According to IB Times, while Samsung is still mum on the release date and features of the Galaxy Note 5, just about all details pertaining to the device have been leaked. Many reports have claimed that Samsung will unveil the device at the upcoming IFA 2015 event in Berlin to be held between Sept. 4 and 9 and launch it a few weeks later, maybe in October. Although Samsung has not confirmed anything, these reports make sense as the South Korean tech titan has the tradition of releasing its Note devices around this time of the year.
Meanwhile, a latest report by Korean website ZOL has leaked further features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. The report claimed that the upcoming device may come with a 5.89-inch screen and accommodate UFS 2.0 Flash memory, as well as a USB 3.1 Type-C port.
It is expected that tech enthusiasts will welcome the incorporation of a USB 3.1 Type-C port in the Galaxy Note 5, since it will allow the users to transfer files up to 10Gbps speeds in both directions, and also charge faster.
According to some reports, Samsung will be releasing two variants of the Galaxy Note 5 - the Galaxy Note 5 code named Project Noble having a flat display, and Galaxy Note 5 Edge code named Project Zero 2 with a dual-edge curved screen.
Earlier reports stated that the device will feature a 5.4-inch or 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, be packed with a 16GB internal storage and 4GB RAM, boast a 16 MP main camera with OIS feature and an 8 MP front snapper. In addition, the reports claimed that the Galaxy Note 5 will be powered by Exynos 7422 processor.
The reports also said that the device may possibly measure 7.9 mm thick, compared to 8.5 mm thickness of the Galaxy Note 4, and powered by a 4100mAh battery unit, compared to a 3220mAh battery unit of the Galaxy Note 4.
