Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 Release Date, News: Upcoming Phone To Double The Internal Storage?
After the news about the Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 was announced, the rumors about its specs have started to circulate.
According to Tech Times, the second generation of the Galaxy Folder comes equipped with a 5 MP front camera. The main snapper, meanwhile, will feature around 8 MP. The internal storage also said to have doubled from the 8 GB last year to 16 GB for the predecessor.
"This phone rocks a Snapdragon 425 chipset with quad-core 1.4 GHz CPU, up from 1.2 GHz in 2015's Galaxy Folder. Its RAM has also increased by 33 percent. Now, the phone boasts a 2 GB one," it said.
Meanwhile, the display screen is reportedly going to be the same: from the 3.8 inches panel with a 800x480 resolution.
In other news, it seems that there's no word yet on whether or not the Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 will support external storage. Or at least, it wasn't specified in the GFXBench benchmarking website.
"The South Korean tech giant is also rumored to be working on a high-end clamshell smartphone that will be sporting the specifications of Samsung Galaxy S7," according to IBTimes. "The alleged Samsung Veyron smartphone has a model number of SM-W2017."
The early rumors have alleged Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 will only be available in Asia and will cost around $250.
It should be noted, however, that there's no news yet from Samsung regarding the specs of the Galaxy Folder 2 so all the above specs and the price tag remain rumors for now.
