Samsung Galaxy A7 Specs, News Update: New Smartphone to Pack Exynos 5433 Processor
A recent leak of the purported Samsung Galaxy A7 reveals that contrary to the common perception, the upcoming device is likely to incorporate a number of superior specs. Moreover, it is believed that the South Korean tech giant will launch the smartphone sooner than expected.
According to Christian Today, the leaked documents posted by Sammobile reveal that the Galaxy A7 will pack the same processor currently used in the Galaxy Note 4. It is reported that the upcoming device will come with an Exynos 5433 processor, which will comprise 1.8 GHz Cortex-A57 cores as well as Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.3 GHz to handle the main processes as well as the common tasks, respectively.
As the Samsung Galaxy A7 will be a mid-range smartphone, earlier reports said that the device will come with a Snapdragon 615 processor, which is inferior when compared to the current Exynos 5433. In fact, the report in Sammobile said that Samsung will only be using the Exynos 5433 for the A7 smartphone, because this chipset has LTE connectivity. However, this can only be ascertained when the Korean firm actually makes an official announcement regarding the specs of the handset.
Meanwhile, it is expected that Samsung Galaxy A7 will be different from other existing smartphones of the company. It is likely to have a metal casing. The first Samsung handset that came in a metal casing was the Galaxy Alpha. The company used metal casing to fulfill the request of the consumers, who wanted the device to be more durable.
In addition, it is speculated that Galaxy A7 will sport a 5.5-inch screen display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) pixel resolution. The device is also likely to have 2 GB of RAM, a 13-MP rear camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter, in addition 16 GB of internal storage capacity, and 2600 mAh battery capacity. It will run on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.
The Galaxy A7 is a part of Samsung's A series smartphones. While the company has already launched the A3 and A5, both budget phones, it is likely to release the Galaxy A7 soon.
