Samsung Galaxy S6 Rumors: Teaser Video Hints Design of Upcoming Device

The developers of the Samsung Galaxy S6 have released a teaser video, titled "I am #TheNextGalaxy' on their official YouTube Channel, which has sparked rumors about its design.

The designers Ivo Maric and Jermaine Smit have, through this video addressed the curiosity of many by giving a sneak peak into how the device will look like. The teaser is aimed at keeping the audience hooked with the release of the device, which is scheduled for next month at the 2015 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, according to The Verge.

The Twitter handle for Samsung Mobile tweeted, saying, "I'm not just inspired by what I see, I am crafted from what I see. I am #TheNextGalaxy."

Speculations about the news of the next edition of the Samsung Galaxy have been going on for quite some time now. With the release of this trailer, the expectations for the device have only gone up. According to the teaser, the device looks somewhat similar to the Note Edge and the images also show that the device will have a curved display. Meanwhile, various sites on the Internet have come up with their own versions of the gadget's images.

Coming to the specifications, various gadget sites speculate different things for the new phone. One can expect either Snapdragon 810 quad-core processor or a Qualcomm or Samsung's own Exynos 7420 for its CPU.

The screen could be something similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, with the AMOLED display, and rumored to be around 5.5 inches. The Operating System, without a doubt, would be the latest in town, the Android Lollipop.

In other news, reportedly, some of the top executives of various carriers such as T-Mobile, Sprint, Vodafone, and SK Telecom, were shown early prototypes of the Samsung Galaxy S6.
