'Salem' Season 3 News & Updates: Mary Sibley And Tituba Return?

WGN American drama "Salem" is set to return this fall to solve all the puzzles left by the season 2 finale.

It can be recalled that the final moments of season 2 saw the death of the powerful witch Mary Sibley, as well as the attack of a vicious pack of crows to her former friend Tituba. Because of Mary's sacrifice, John Alden came back to life. However, their son John Jr. turned out to be the devil's vessel.

Next season, Mary Sibley and her former friend and maid Tituba will return. This week, WGN America has released the first set of official cast photos on "Salem's" Facebook page, featuring Mary, a dreamy-eyed Tituba, John Alden, the devil, the scheming Anne Mather, her husband Cotton, the cruel Mercy Lewis, noble Isaac and Sebastian von Marburg.

Fresh faces are also set to join the original cast for the next season, including the bloody barber surgeon Thomas Dinley, who is known throughout Salem for his unparalleled skills not just in shaving and haircutting, but also in having people leeched, bled, ripped open and sewn up. According to reports, Thomas Dinley will serve as the devil's partner and will be portrayed by Marilyn Manson.

Another new character in season 3 is Sentinel, who will be portrayed by Samuel Roukin of "Tum: Washington's Spies." Details about this character remain scarce, but more information about him will be revealed as soon as the new season premieres.

"Salem" season 3 premieres on November 2 on WGN America.
