BreatheCast chatted with singer/songwriter Ryan Stevenson at the K-Love Fan Awards 2014, heard what he had to say about the night's festivities.

When asked about being at the event he said he was excited, "Just seeing all my friends, seeing people just get recognized for their amazing world changing work."

His current single is called "The Human Side" off of his latest record Hold Nothing Back, which was released in September.

"This is a song of hope inspired from personal defeats, failures and struggles in my own life. Because we are all just people, none of us are immune to trial and tribulation," he said on his site. "We are going to face situations that bring to the surface the reality of our humanness. The amazing hope in this song is the blatant message of HIS amazing grace! Because Jesus is so good and merciful to me, it makes me want to obey Him and bless His heart with my life!"

Stevenson seemed unsure of what the future had in store for him, as his latest album is relatively new, he said, "I just hope for more great amazing songs that just continue to change people and impact hearts around the world."

The singer is currently leading worship at Vertical Church in Boise, Idaho.
