Ryan Gosling News: 'Notebook' Star Ditches Oscar Awards for Disneyland Date with Guillermo Del Toro

The happiest place on Earth is apparently not at the recent Oscar Awards but in Disneyland. Hollywood actor Ryan Gosling, known to be hitting a lot of red carpets took some time off in his busy acting career and red carpet appearances and headed to the famous theme park with his friend Guillermo Del Toro.

Apparently Gosling wasn't really invited to the award show since only celebrities who are presenting and nominated are allowed to attend. Well, good thing Gosling is known to be a huge fan of the theme park spending 11 hours inside.

Several reporters and fans spotted the actor having so much fun with his friend Del Toro. The two were reportedly seen going on several rides on the theme park. "Ryan enjoyed the rides, going on Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain Railroad, Disneyland Train, Jungle Cruise, Indiana Jones, Radiator Springs and Tower of Terror," a source from E! News revealed.

Indeed there is no age when it comes to enjoying Disneyland as Gosling is also a new dad with Eva Mendes. Just recently, the two welcomed their new baby daughter Esmeralda and the new dad reportedly bought several things for her and Mendes as well.

"Ryan bought his new baby some Disney characters and a coffee mug for Eva," the source continued adding that it was the "cutest part" in Gosling's day in Disneyland. The actor, being tired from all his rides with Del Toro was also seen dining at the members-only Disneyland Dining experience, Club 33.

An eyewitness even told E! News that the Hollywood actor "was very nice with fans," the eyewitness revealed. Apparently, Gosling was in a pretty good mood that day greeting fans along the way. Indeed, the place for him was the happiest place on earth, next to his family.

"I loved the idea that Walt Disney had this dream of a place and then made it a reality," Gosling said in a previous interview with GQ in 2010. "It's the same way I felt when I saw Blue Velvet. It's so clearly one person's singular dream. The fact that somebody believed in their idea so much to make it a reality...I want to be that kind of person," he added.
