Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes News: New Hollywood Parents Heading Down Rocky Road?
Since the birth of their baby Esmeralda in September, Hollywood parents Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have supposedly begun leading separate lives.
Several sources worry that the couple is growing apart, and soon, they may no longer be a couple. One source told OK! magazine that Ryan and Eva have been suffering from "more than just run-of-the-mill stress that comes with having a newborn."
In a way, this makes sense because both parents are actors, after all, and they may not be able to see each other as often as they would like to. 'The Notebook' star has been filming 'The Nice Guys' in Georgia for several months, and needs to jet back and forth in order to see his daughter. Insiders allege that the main reason Gosling needs to go back and forth is because Eva refuses to fly to Atlanta with the baby.
Eva Mendes wanted to become a hands-on mom to become closer to her child, but has told Ellen DeGeneres, "I'm so incredibly tired."
Insiders suggest that Eva's decision has led to her becoming something of a recluse as she takes care of her daughter full-time. A source said, "The last time Ryan was in LA, he told her that she and Esmeralda needed to get outside for some fresh air, but she just wouldn't listen."
If the two were to split up, it is expected that Eva would fight for full custody. She might win, too, as the pretty actress has been the primary, hands-on parent Ryan can't be while he is busy filming his movie. However, for now, the two are keeping a low profile about the details of their relationship.
