Royalty Custody News: Chris Brown Hugs Daughter Royalty After Winning Shared Custody

Chris Brown, age 26, is the picture of happiness after winning joint custody of his beloved daughter Royalty. Brown ran straight into the one-year-old's arms outside the courtroom, and Mark Geragos, his attorney, took a picture to share his joy on social media. He captioned it "#proudDad."

The picture shows Brown hugging his baby tightly and kissing her on the head with a broad smile on his face.

The decision that Brown will share custody of his daughter with ex-wife Nia Guzman, 32, was made by a Texan judge in a Houston court on Sept. 11.

In the terms worked out by the judge, Royalty will spend four days with each parent in their separate California homes, it had been reported to TMZ.

There was no ruling as to what the arrangement would be when Brown tours.

The judge also ruled in Brown's favor regarding child support. Guzman had initially asked for the huge figure of $15k a month, but it was cut back to $2,500 a month.

Finally, the judge ruled that Guzman was not to reveal any details of the case on social media, as well as refrain from speaking negatively about Brown.

Guzman has hoped to totally deny Brown custodial rights to Royalty. She had also hoped to restrict Brown's contact with his daughter to supervised visitation.

A source confirmed to Hollywood Life, "Paternity has been adjudicated. Chris is Royalty's father. "

The same source shares: " [Chris] is required to pay all medical bills or medical insurance for Royalty too."

Guzman's legal team did see some victories at the ruling - Brown agreed to always have his mother present when he was in custody of Royalty.

They also viewed the arrangement ruled by the judge as temporary, noting that a mediation will take place in a few weeks to further address child support payments.
