'Rosewood' Season 2 Episode 5 Spoilers, News Update: Man Requesting To Pay Rosewood In Advance For Autopsy

"Rosewood" season 2, episode 5 will follow Rosewood and his team as they get hired to conduct an autopsy on a man's body, but with a twist.

Titled "Spirochete and Santeria," the new episode will see how the team handles this unique case of a man paying in advance for his own autopsy. Since they have never encountered a case like this before, they will initially become cynical about his intentions.

The official synopsis for the episode reads, "When a man stumbles into Magic City Lab requesting to pay in advance for his own autopsy, the team is confused and skeptical-- until that same man turns up dead the very next day."

In the promo trailer for "Spirochete and Santeria," the man is shown offering a great deal of money to Rosewood to do an autopsy of his body. The man also says that he thinks he is going to be dead within 24 hours. It turns out that he is right, because Rosewood and Villa discover his body the following day. In his funeral, the two detectives show up. Towards the end of the clip, Rosewood warns Villa to keep it cool, but Villa takes everyone by surprise when she suddenly pulls out her gun.

In a recent interview with Latina, Rosewood portrayer Morris Chestnut revealed that the second season of the American police procedural drama is much bigger, bolder, sexier and edgier than the previous season.

"Rosewood this year gets confronted with situations that are going to make him question his whole optimist perspective and view of the world. There's sort of a life-altering event that takes place in his life," she said.

"Rosewood" season 2 airs Thursdays, 8:00 P.M. on FOX.
