Ronda Rousey Reddit AMA Recap: Champ Answers Questions On Overcoming Anorexia, Floyd Mayweather, & Pre-Fighting Routines
What social media has done definitely bridged a huge gap between unreachable celebrities and their fans. Just recently, famous MMA fighter Ronda Rousey logged in to Reddit where she answered several questions from fans about her previous battle with Anorexia, her fitness secrets and her feud with undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Rousey indeed revealed a lot but what surprised many was her introduction on Reddit where she wrote, "Ronda here. My favorite Pokémon is Mew and I used to moderate a Pokémon forum." Then after just a few minutes, fans started asking the fighter personal questions to know how she really is as a person.
As a fighter first, Rousey revealed that she wants silence before every fight. "I have complete silence before I walk out before a fight. No talking in the locker room, no music, cellphones on silent. If I hear a ding from you taking a video you're gonna get your own private Rowdy Glare," she wrote.
Rousey has been known to be one tough girl even revealing that she can beat Mayweather if there will be a ruleless fight. "Do I think I would legit beat Mayweather in a ruleless fight? Floyd is one of the best boxers of all time. He would definitely beat me in a boxing match," she wrote adding, "I unfortunately don't get into 'matches'. I fight for a living. In a no rules fight, I believe I can beat anyone on this planet. Boxing is a sweet science with strict rules that I respect very much and aspire every day to improve at. But you said ruleless fight, and that's my honest answer."
However Rousey didn't reach her success easily, she revealed as well how she previously struggled with Anorexia and overcame it when one asked about it. "It feels very liberating to free of the guilt that used to come with every meal. And I feel like I have so much extra space in my brain now that I'm not constantly thinking about the next meal and trying to eat as much as possible every day while still losing weight," she revealed.
