Ronda Rousey News: Fighter Crowned 'World's Most Dominant Athlete', Tell All Interview with Sports Illustrated
Fighter Ronda Rousey is killing it this year not only by being the "World's Most Dominant Athlete" but also by being a model and actress at the same time. The very athletic and stylish fighter at the same time recently graced the cover of Sports Illustrated.
About her recent fight against Cat Zingano in UFC 184, she revealed that it was quite challenging for her as well as she said, "every single millisecond of that fight was something that has never been done before in MMA," she said on her interview with SI.
The fighter, Rousey is also a model, as she was previously famed in the 2013 Maxim's Hot 100 list. It doesn't stop there as Rousey is also an actress, as she recently played a role in Expendables 3, appeared in the recent blockbuster film Furious 7 and will be in the upcoming Entourage movie.
Indeed she is doing it all, quite excellently even UFC President Dana White is very impressed with Rousey saying, "She's the greatest athlete I've ever worked with. By far," White told SI. "Her personal life and professional life are as put together as anyone's. She'll do the work of 20 male fighters. She'll bury anyone...when you talk about a franchise player-anything we need, she's there for us," she added.
With all the praises she gets, Rousey is very grateful especially for those who are guiding her in how to appear in front of the people and media as a celebrity. "I'm very lucky in that I'm surrounded by plenty of people that will not hesitate for one second to tell me to go f**k myself if I said something stupid. Or if I have an idea that's nuts, they'll tell me, 'That's a crazy idea,' and I'll have to have a debate with them and be able to justify myself," she told SI.
But with all that said, Rousey remains to be humble and conscious to always try and win as she revealed that losing is one of her fears. "I like snakes and bugs and heights," she said adding, "But fear of failure? Losing literally feels like dying to me."
