'Rocket League' Starbase ARC News Update: DLC Set To Release On December 7

Psyonix has shared the news regarding the "Rocket League" Starbase ARC downloadable content, which will go live on Dec. 7.

This news about the "Rocket League" Starbase ARC was first announced during The Game Awards 2016 in Los Angeles, CA where it was revealed that the update will arrive on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

There are several new content for the ARC including a new arena and premium battlecar. The "Starbase" itself refers to an "octagonal, semi-standard stadium that orbits a huge (but familiar) desert planet," said the Psyonic website. While the league is going on, there are also "space battles" going on in the background while meteorites and space junks can also be seen drifting around.

As to the battle-car, it will supposedly have "animated wings and a sleek, futuristic look." You do need to fork over $1.99 if you want this one though.

The studio also confirmed previous news reports on the "Rocket League" Starbase ARC, particularly when it comes to Steak Workshop support.

"PC, Mac, and SteamOS players will be able to upload custom levels they have built to the Steam Rocket League Community Hub!"the website said. "This is a feature we've wanted to implement for a long time and we're excited to see what you can come up with."

Meanwhile, the new DLC will allow players to "like" or "dislike" arenas in order to boost the chances of playing your favorite arena in online matches. You can also customize your training in order to increase the likelihood of victories based on your playing style.

Watch out for more "Rocket League" news as the Starbase ARC patch will be uploaded on Dec. 7.
