'Rock Band 4' DLC: Adds Six New Songs Including Justin Bieber's 'What Do You Mean' [VIDEO]

Rock Band's developer, Harmonix, announced on December 29 that there will be an additional six new tracks to its popular musical rhythm game, "Rock Band 4."

The new tracks include Coldplay's "Adventure of a Lifetime," Ellie Goulding's "On My Mind," Justin Bieber's "What Do You Mean," One Direction's "Drag Me Down," Sam Hunt's "Leave the Night On" and Weezer's "Thank God for Girls." Each song can be purchased for $1.99.

Some of the songs aren't actually rock songs, but pop songs. Justin Bieber and rock music doesn't really mix. It doesn't really make any sense other than the fact the the pop star is a huge draw and will certainly make the game earn more money. For some reason it would still be a great addition to the gamers song list.

Some of the songs though are acceptable. You could actually imagine yourself playing the guitar parts of most songs.

Harmonix also announced that the prices will drop this week for Rock Band 4 bundles at GameStop according to iDigital Times. The guitar-and-game bundle will now be at $80 while the Band-In-A-Box will drop to $200. Rock Band 4 for PlayStation 4 will be at a price of $40 also on Xbox One with a Legacy Adapter for the price of $60.

Rock Band was first released back in 2007. It first debuted on November 20, 2007 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3. It later on made its Nintendo Wii debut on September 12, 2008. By October 9, 2008, the game had already sold four million units and made a whopping $600 million in global revenue. It remains to be one of the most sought-after rhythm games today.
