'Rizzoli & Isles' Season 7 Episode 12 Spoilers: Jane And Maura Solve Two Murder Cases Simultaeously
Jane and Maura solved two cases simultaneously in episode 12 of "Rizzoli & Isles" season 7.
Episode 11 saw the Boston Police Department solve the murder case involving a mortician. In episode 12, the homicide detective and chief medical examiner were proficiently and simultaneously able to solve one case from the present and another one from the past.
Titled "Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow," the episode followed the team as they were called to investigate the murder of Walter Sokoloff, whose eldest daughter Mary was dated by Korsak several years ago. Through DNA testing, Maura discovered that the one responsible for Walter's death was also the one who killed his daughter Wendy in 1975. Wendy's murder was never solved.
While the Boston Police was busy working on Walter's case, Jane went on dates with her new boss, agent Davies, and even had a sleepover with him. However, her budding romance with Davies did not stop her from cracking cases. She learned that the Davenport family was the primary suspect in Wendy's death, and the family had been protected by the patriarch, Oliver Davenport, who is now suffering from dementia.
Jane used Oliver's dementia to get a DNA sample. After procuring some tears for the DNA test, she had the samples tested and found out that one of Davenport's sons was responsible for the death of both Wendy and Walter. It turned out that Robbie was the murderer, who was only a child in 1975 when he killed Wendy over a locket.
"Rizzoli & Isles" season 7, episode 12 aired on Aug. 29 on TNT.
