"Rizzoli & Isles" season 7 is nearing its finale and viewers can clearly see it in the characters' interactions and their plans for the future. Three episodes before it finally wraps things up, the show still has a lot to offer.

Titled "Stiffed," the upcoming episode offers a premise that could be very interesting and uncanny for viewers.

"A mortician's body is discovered in one of his town funeral home's caskets, leading our team into the world of embalming, interment, and ultimately, serial murder. Tommy Rizzoli visits with his son TG, and considers returning to Boston for good. Jane's loved ones react to her news," reads the official synopsis for the episode.

While the synopsis suggests that there will be a storyline that carries into the last two, it also suggests that there might be a standalone component. This does not come as a surprise for viewers, since the series has always seemed to know how to satisfy its audience very well.

In the previous episode, Detective Jane Rizzoli and Dr. Maura Isles found themselves entangled in a Ponzi scheme, following the death of a forensic accountant whose body was recovered in a park. Complexities arose when they discovered that the main suspect was actually someone from Maura's past. The episode showcased Sasha Alexander's directorial skills.

Meanwhile, episode 11 is expected to be another intensely interesting episode as Tommy Rizzoli and his son arrive in Boston, while Maura and Jane delve into the murder case of a mortician.
