Riley Clemmons Releases New Single "Better For It," Following Up Her Recent Hit "Broken Prayers"
18-year old singer-songwriter Riley Clemmons on Friday released her latest single, "Better For It," following her breakthrough hit "Broken Prayers" which came out during the beginning of the year. Accompanying the empowering new pop song is a music video filmed in one continuous take in Clemmon's hometown of Nashville, Tenn.
With over twelve million global streams and a frequently watched music video exclusively premiered by SiriusXM, "Broken Prayers" skyrocketed the young Clemmons' introduction into the music scene. Upon release, the single immediately received 38 adds at radio, including K-Love, AIR1, and SiriusXM.
In total, her debut single "Broken Prayers" was supported by over 72 radio stations, with a multi-week Top 5 reign at Hot AC radio, and a Top 15 placement on the National Christian Audience chart. The song was also featured on Apple Music playlists such as Future Hits, Pure Pop, Charm, and Breaking Pop, alongside artists such as Charlie Puth, Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan, and more.
Clemmons debuted her new single "Better For It" live on stage during last weekend's 2018 K-Love Fan Awards, along with a special performance of "Broken Prayers" that will be broadcast along with the rest of the show on TBN on Thursday, May 31, at 8 p.m. ET.
Currently, Clemmons is slated to appear on Danny Gokey's newly announced "The Hope Encounter" tour, along with fellow special guest Tauren Wells. The tour, which runs September through November, is currently scheduled to make 29 stops across the U.S., including Los Angeles, Atlanta, Seattle, Phoenix, Oklahoma City, and more.
