Rihanna 'R8' Album Release Date: 2015 Record Features Ty Dolla $ign, Kiesza, DJ Mustard, Sam Smith?
It's almost three years since the Barbadian singing sensation Rihanna has released her last album. Since RiRi released her last album "Unapologetic" way back in 2012, her fans are waiting in great anticipation for a new album and not just to feature in other artist's albums. So, many expect that she may be coming out with something new in 2015.
According to Christian Today, there are rumors that RiRi will perhaps release her eighth album in 2015. It is also being speculated that her upcoming album will be titled "R8." Paper Mag reports that the singer will be collaborating with several best artists of the day in her new album. It is expected that she will join hands with Ty Dolla $ign, Kiesza, DJ Mustard and some other artists in the new album.
It is also being said that Sam Smith may also feature in RiRi's new album. Rumor has it that Smith is thrilled about the album and has even reportedly said that he knows certain things about the album that no one does. This has led fans to believe that Smith will also be singing a tune in "R8."
In the meantime, recently Rihanna leaked a demo titled "World Peace" online and fans believe that it is a part of "R8." The demo demonstrates the vibe similar to that of other Rihanna songs. Apart from this, the singer has also uploaded teaser tunes her Instagram account. Fans are now wondering if this would also be incorporated in the singer's new collection.
While it has not been confirmed when the singer would release her new album officially, some are speculating that this may happen on the kickoff date of Super Bowl 2015. In fact, it is being rumored that RiRi may be performing alongside her friend Katy Perry at the Super Bowl Pepsi Superbowl XLIX Halftime show.
In a recent TV interview with ET, Perry disclosed a few points about her 12-minute performance at the Super Bowl half time. "I have a couple of tricks up my sleeve, but I can't tell you everything. I'm gonna let people just think about it," she said, adding, "Let's just say female empowerment."
