Rihanna New Album News: 'Diamonds' Singer Teases Fans about New 'R8' Album
Multi-platinum recording artist Rihanna has relentlessly teased fans with the release of her upcoming album, "R8."
While a projected release date has not yet been announced, much news on the upcoming project has been leaked by the artist herself, and others collaborating on the album.
The singer has registered an 11 song tracklist for the album.
According to The Sun via Unreality TV, the "Diamonds" hitmaker has reportedly registered 11 brand new tracks off her new record -- according to the "#R8" songs that she has protected with the publishers include Glass John-produced "Kiss It Better," which she recently teased via Instagram, as well as "All Night," "Ignite Me," "Ehh," "I Saw a Girl," "Intoxicated," "Overload," "Transducer," "Drive Alone," "Where I Belong" and the questionable "Burritos."
"Rihanna, however, has yet to confirm whether the aforementioned cuts will actually make the cut for the upcoming record's tracklist or not," writes Latino Post.
Other artists believed to be featured on the project are Ty Dolla $ign, Kanye West, and Paul McCartney.
In an interview with Billboard, Ty Dolla $ign stated, "Me, Rihanna, 'Ye and Paul [McCartney] got a song about to drop," he said, adding, "It's gonna drop soon. I heard they shot the video recently. I don't know what the final title is, but I know it's crazy so just be looking out for [it]."
There was also what appeared to be a leak of Rihanna's surprise performance on the upcoming Grammy Awards from her drummer, Aaron Drape's Instagram.
"Idolator first noticed that RiRi's drummer Aaron Drape had hinted at the potential surprise performance via his Instagram user name user name a_drape30. Drape revealed that 'we have some shows coming up', and when one fan asked about the upcoming ceremony, he replied, 'yup yup'," writes Latino Post.
This will be the singer's eighth album, and most recent recording effort since her album, "Unapologetic" in 2012.
