Rihanna New Album 2015 News: Singer Releases Song Snippet Teaser Before Eighth Studio Record Release

Rihanna posted a 15-second teaser of a new song on her Instagram on Tuesday in celebration of her upcoming eighth studio album.

Rihanna has yet to confirm the release of her eighth studio album, but decided to tease fans by posting a snippet of a song on her Instagram. In the song, the 26-year-old could be heard breaking it down and spouting off lyrics.

The Instagram post followed claims by DJ Skee from Dash Radio that Rihanna's album was coming in early 2015.

DJ Skee said the album contained "big ballad vocal songs" and "hard-hitting beats," which made for an edgier Rihanna. He also said that many songs have been cut and the final track list has yet to be decided on, which is why there is a lack of announcement. He then pointed out songwriting team Stargate as taking part in the album.

Rihanna tweeted in response, simply saying that she was the one who will deliver the news of #R8 directly, and then posted the new snippet on Instagram.

Last week, Rihanna was interviewed by ET where she said that her album was coming "very soon."

"I'm really excited about the music that we've been working on, so I can't wait for people to hear it," she said to ET.

However, reports have appeared that Rihanna's album could be coming out on Black Friday after a countdown appeared on Rihanna's brother's twitter account.

Rihanna's brother, Rajad Fenty, is counting down the days to Nov. 28. He started tweeting the numbers starting with the number "8" and also said, "Oh no... what did I type?"

Fenty denied that his tweets were related to "R8," though there was a chance he denied it because the album has a different name.
