Having amous parents can sometimes get you in a bit trouble. The son of Rev. Run and nephew to hip hop legend Russell Simmons, Jo Jo Simmons, was in a picture posted to Instagram, allegedly on the phone "saying sorry" to Juelz Santana for calling him out in his song "Holy Water".

The caption with the photo read:

"Being the son of Rev. Run and nephew to mogul Russell Simmons, does not mean you can't get served up with a plate of rape beef.  JoJo Simmons learned that the hard way this past weekend, when Juelz Santana's Skullgang goon, roughed him up on account of a dis track."

The feud between JoJo and Santana started when Santana insulted JoJo in his song "Soft" off his God Will'n mixtape.

"Far as that dough goes," Santana raps, "I'm Russell Simmons, you JoJo."

The Simmons' are proud people, so JoJo obviously didn't take the comment in stride and responded in his song "Holy Water (Juelz Santana Diss)".

Whether the picture is real or just a gang prank, who knows? But I'll definitely be tuning in to see where the Juelz Santana vs. JoJo Simmons battle royale takes us.
