'Resident Evil: The Final Chapter' News: Paul W.S. Anderson Film Trailer Reveals End Of Alice’s Story

Sony and Screen Gems have unveiled the Paul W.S. Anderson's "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" in an international trailer.

The clip opens in a dynamic sequence, showing a person hastily driving a motorcycle from Raccoon City. The next sequence confirms Alice as the person on the motorcycle and the succeeding sequences show vigorous scenes, such as fire, gun shots, glass crashes, explosions, and monster attacks.

More sequences unveil combat scenes fans are set to see in the film, along with Milla Jojovich's Alice revealing her name and saying that it was her story, which was coming to an end.

Prior to the release of the international trailer, Jovovich herself gave fans a tease on what to expect from the film. On Aug. 5, the actress tweeted "Teaser for #ResidentEvilFinalChapter: 4 days to the official trailer everyone!!! Cant' wait!"

Jojovich's tweet came along with a clip showing the film's title and her character Alice riding on a motorcycle, saying that she would kill every last one of them, presumably referring to the monsters in the movie.

"The Final Chapter" stands as the final installment of the "Resident Evil" film franchise. The film was initially announced in June 2014 and the cast was first unveiled in Sept. 2015. Production was reportedly delayed in line with Jovovich's pregnancy, as per Comic Book Resources.

The film stars Rola as Cobalt, William Levy as Christian, Eoin Macken as Doc, Shawn Roberts as Albert Wesker, Iain Gle as Dr. Alexander Isaacs, Ali Larter as Claire redfield, Ruby Rose as Abigail, and Jovovich as Alice.

Director Anderson helmed the film while Martin Moszkowics, Victor Hadida, Janine van Assen, Robert Kulzer, Samuel Hadida, and Jeremy Bolt were on board as producers.

Anderson's "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Jan. 27, 2017.
