Gamers became excited as Capcom recently revealed three new enemies - Revenant, Othrus and Sploder for the upcoming 'Resident Evil: Revelations 2' video game.

Revenant is composed of multiple body parts sewn together. This enemy does not die easily and the player may use Natalia's ability to depict the weakness of the creature in order to defeat it.

Othrus is a fast wild animal that contracted a virus. They assault the player in packs and must be killed one by one immediately after spotting them in 'Revelations 2'.

The Sploder looks like a bloated frog that explodes and releases a harmful substance that can damage the eyes when the player gets too close. It must be defeated from a safe distance and Moira's flashlight is a very useful device to conquer it.

The new content for 'Revelations 2' will be released in each episode along with the storyline of Barry, Claire, or Moira.

Gamers will not only see new opponents, but will also experience new raid mode, loot options and cooperative mode play. Players may also customize the character according to their desire by giving it several outfits and weapons.

In 'Revelations 2', the Raid mode will have some changes and will start with the character selection. Each character possesses its own skills and abilities. The characters will battle out mobs and aside from the usual weapons, they can take hold of a treasure chest that contains useful objects.

Cooperative playing is now allowed in the 'Revelations 2' Raid mode. This can be done by using the two-player split-screen option or through an online community.

As for the goal of the Raid mode, the player still needs to find and break the goal symbol at the finale of every stage.

'Resident Evil: Revelations 2' Episode 1 will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC on February 17.
