‘Resident Evil Revelation 2’: New Game Coming to PlayStation Vita in August, Teaser Video Released [VIDEO]
Having released 'Resident Evil 2' for PlayStation 3 and Playstation 4, Playstation has announced the launch of the popular survival horror video game developed by Capcom for the PlayStation Vita platform too. The game is scheduled for release on Aug. 16 and can be acquired for $39.99 in North America and Europe.
According to IB Times, PlayStation has also announced that the latest edition will comprise the four core episodes as well as a raid mode with a view to introduce terror, action and mystery.
In addition to the four core episodes and a raid mode, the titles will include two bonus episodes called 'The Struggle' and 'Little Miss'. In 'The Struggle,' players will come to know more about Moira's struggle for survival on the island between Claire's departure and Barry's arrival. In the second episode, there will be further information regarding Natalia and her unusual abilities. Both these episodes have a critical role in comprehending these characters and the way they play into the main campaign.
In fact, 'Revelations 2' would not be complete without Raid Mode, which makes a great comeback with 15 playable characters (including HUNK and Wesker) in addition to over 200 missions for lightning-fast action on the move. The will also be some additional content in the form of a throw-back map pack and numerous storage expansions for Weapons, Parts, as well as Albums.
In its official blog, PlayStation recently wrote, "Raid Mode 2 player co-op over PlayStation Network is supported out of the gate, and we'll be adding ad-hoc Raid Mode at a later date via a free content update. Stay tuned for more information."
