'Resident Evil 7' Release Date, Demo News: Capcom Showcases First Live Action Trailer, Eight Minutes Of Gameplay

A little over a month before the official release date of "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC, Capcom is already busy accepting pre-orders of the game on Steam and Gamestop. The biohazard tease demo update is set to come on December 3.

This week, Capcom has released the first live action trailer and eight minutes of new gameplay of the much anticipated "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard." The game developer took to Twitter to share the official trailer, which offers an exciting first look into the world of the new video game as its main character fights for survival inside the Baker mansion.

Recent reports about the game also suggest that Capcom has released a separate eight-minute video to acquaint players with the new gameplay of "Resident Evil 7." This new video also features an additional commentary and shows for the first time the main character being equipped with a gun.

Meanwhile, Capcom recently confirmed that the cross-save feature of the game will be available to Xbox One and Windows PC users. The game was previously more PlayStation 4-centric, but the studio has taken strides towards making "Resident Evil" also compatible with other consoles. Hence, Capcom is now encouraging Xbox One and Windows PC gamers to check out the game, which now supports cross save between console and PC.

In other "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" news, players of the game will have the chance to get their hands on an awesome loot. The Collector's Edition features a Baker mansion replica that is not simply a mock-up of the structure but is also a music box. It also comes with a severed finger USB.

"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" arrives in PlayStation, Xbox One and Windows PC starting January 24.
