'Resident Evil 7' Release Date, Demo Update: What’s Behind the Molded Door?

The "Resident Evil 7" demo final update has been released and fans can finally enter the molded door and probably unravel the mystery about the eerie sounds coming from behind the locked entrance.

The teaser, titled "Beginning Hour," was first dropped during the E3 this year, then there's "Twilight." To date, over three million PlayStation 4 owners have downloaded the game as they try to escape the sinister mansion.

Now, "Resident Evil 7" demo final update, titled "Midnight" was released and Capcom promises that fans will finally be able to come to some sort of closure.

Kellen Haney, Capcom social media specialist, in a blog post  said that people who went through the demos had a grand time looking for clues as well as goodies that are spread throughout the mansion's nooks and crannies.

"If you've played through the demo before, you're likely familiar with some of the secrets the mansion holds," he said, adding that the clues include "a lock pick that's fallen between the cracks and, of course, the enigmatic dummy finger."

"We're happy to say that the Midnight update will add even more to the demo, allowing you to explore beyond the eerie, molded door that appeared in the last update," he added,

Also, the developer has announced that the "Resident Evil 7" demo final update will have the optional VR mode. It's also supports 4K resolution, which would even be better to really throw yourself into the creepy game.

"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" will arrive on the PlayStation 4 on Jan. 24, 2017.
