'Resident Evil 4' PS4/Xbox One News: Remastered Gameplay Trailer Features Leon Kennedy’s Mission [WATCH]
Capcom has released the latest gameplay trailer for the remastered "Resident Evil 4" for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and it gives a taste of the protagonists' quest.
The trailer opens with Leon Kennedy on his mission to save the president's daughter Ashley from cult members who promised their loyalty to Los Illuminados, infecting them with a parasite that governs their minds.
Kennedy heads to a village and then hides behind a tree. Using his binoculars, the character sees a dead man hooked on a pole. Armed with his gun, he advances to the village, obtains items, and shoots the villagers, who are also armed and are ready to hurt him. The trailer also confirms that the character can kick the villagers, aside from shooting them with his gun.
Overall, the title involves gathering items and shooting foes to advance to the next level.
According to VG247, the title's HD version is set to run at 1080p and 60fps. Also, it includes a bonus content from the first game, such as the Mercenaries Mode, New Game Plus, and Ada Wong's side story.
Along with "Resident Evil 4," Capcom previously announced the release of "Resident Evil 5" and "Resident Evil 6" for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 before the conclusion of 2016, as per Game Rant.
"Resident Evil 4," also known as "Biohazard 4" in Japan, is a survival horror third-person shooting video game and sixth major installment in the "Resident Evil" series. The game follows Kennedy from a third-person perspective and covers dynamic shootouts with a pool of enemies in huge open areas.
Capcom's "Resident Evil 4" was initially released for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Android in Jan. 2005. The remastered iteration is set to be released on Aug. 30. Meanwhile, "Resident Evil 7" is set to come out in mid-January 2017.
