'Reign' Season 3 News: Megan Follows Talks More About Season 4 Renewal, Francis' Death To Be Ending Story?
The makers of The CW series, "Reign" has announced that they are now done working with the third season of the show. The royal drama series is currently on a brief time off, but promises to bring much more into the story as time goes on.
"Reign" Writer recently tweeted a photo with a caption: "That's a wrap on writing #ReignSeason3! What an amazing season. We can't wait for you to see the rest!"
According to ENSTARS, Megan Follows said that there is a very high chance that the show will get renewed for a fourth season. The actress told TV Line that the death of Francis, played by Toby Regbo, won't be the end of the line for the plot and of the story itself.
"Toby was an amazing player, and we were all really sad although it was time for the story-he knew that," the 47-year -old actress said. "What's fantastic about our show is that we've really embraced change and grown; there are so many stories to tell," she continued.
The talented actress also expressed her joy in finally being able to direct an episode of the show. She said that she started "pestering" the people behind the scenes right away.
"'I want to do this. I want to do this,'" she said with full enthusiasm. "They were very supportive and said I needed to shadow the other directors, so I learned a tremendous amount that way. I was also directing a play at the same time. I wanted to show them that I was serious," she added.
"Reign" season 3 returns Monday, April 25th, 8p.m. ET only on The CW.
