'Regression' Trailer News: Emma Watson Relives Brutal Abuse in New Teaser [VIDEO]

The first full length trailer for the upcoming horror film, Regression, starring Emma Watson has been released.

In the movie, which will be coming to theaters on August 28th, Emma Watson will be deviating from her role in Harry Potter altogether.

She will play a girl named Angela, whose father sexually and physically abused her, although he does not remember any of it.

Detective Bruce Kenner, played by Ethan Hawke will explore whether or not Angela's claims are true and help her father relive his memories.

In the trailer, Detective Bruce is seen addressing the man whom Angela accuses of abusing her, her father, John.

"You can start by telling me why you're here," says Kenner.

"Because I did it," replied John.

Although John is confessing to what he is accused of, he does not have any memory of what happened.

In order to remind him, Angela tells him what happened on the night. She begins, "I heard a knock at the door. There was an old lady. They were headed for dad's workshop. I could hear them chanting. They were wearing robes."

After this scene, we see Detective Kenner as he comes out of the shed in which the events allegedly took place, looking frightened although he has just seen a ghost. "They'll kill you too," says Angela to him.

"I just get the feeling with this case, that it's a part of something...bigger," responds the detective.

Fans cannot wait to see this flick, as the trailer is already sending chills up their spines.
