The trailer for the upcoming thriller 'Regression' has hit the Internet and boy is it creepy. The general impression from earlier watchers was that the film is hauntingly spooky.

The film finds Ethan Hawke searching for details in a terrifying mystery involving Emma Watson. The movie is set in the 1990s and reveals that bad things happen when you reveal a truth someone wants to keep secret.

Even though the film won't be released until August 28th, it has already created buzz among viewers. The short trailer took every opportunity to let those watching know that the movie is full of edge of your seat thrills.

"They'll kill me," Emma says to Ethan in a clip from the upcoming mystery thriller 'Regression.' To which Ethan replies, "nobody's going to hurt you anymore."

From the trailer, just released this week that seems unlikely to be true. Both Ethan and Emma seem to be in grave danger, and it seems viewers will be in for a wild ride as they try to find out who or what is lurking.

The goal of the early release trailer was to bait audiences with questions of "why?" and "what?" and in clips like this that goal was certainly achieved.

 "I heard a knock at the door, there was this old lady, she had a weird smile on her face, she took me downstairs, they were wearing robes and now they'll kill you, too," Emma says to Ethan after she recounts her horrifying experience.

Ethan is not going to give up that easy. He is determined to dig deeper and get answers about the mystery.

"I just get the feeling that this case, it's a part of something bigger," says Ethan Hawke's character in 'Regression.'

There is something extremely weird going on in 'Regression', but audiences will have to wait until August to find out what's going on in this horror flick.
