Redmi Pro Specs, Release Date: Entry-Level Smartphone Features High Image Quality

Previous news reports reveal that the RedMi Pro will feature two sensors from two competing tech manufacturers, Sony and Samsung. The decision, however, seems to have worked as the new mobile allegedly allow users to take photos that will impress even professional photographers.

A report from CNET noted the use of two sensors which dumbs down the adjustment of depth of field, a process which takes time to master for professional photographers. The term used for blurring the background to highlight an object is called the bokeh effect.

In fact, all the user has to do is to push the button on top of the onscreen shutter. Then choose the aperture and the Redmi Pro will do the rest.

According to the news reports, the RedMi Pro has three variants: the Helio X20 processor with 3 GB or RAM along with 32 GB of storage. Two more versions of the Helio X25 processors are also available. One has 3 GB of RAM plus 64 GB of storage and another has 4 GB of RAM and 128 storage.

Users can also choose from silver, gold and dark gray colors.

As to the specs of the RedMi Pro, it has a 5.5-inch full-HD display and a monster 4,050 mAh battery. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the front, supports dual-SIM as well as USB-C connectivity. For its main snapper, the device has 13-megapixel Sony camera and a 5-megapixel Samsung camera on the front.

Xiaomi dubbed the Redmi Pro as the "most powerful Redmi ever." The official release date for the phone was on July 27 in China. There's is currently no word of a launch outside of the country, but the device is expected to be launched in India and other developing markets.
