'Red Dead Redemption 2' News: Titles To Be Accessible On Xbox One; Sequel Release Date Confirmed?

New details on the release of Rockstar Games' "Red Dead Redemption 2" have surfaced.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" is set to come soon, according to Ecumenical News. As per the publication, it is due to the fact that the title can now be accessed on the Xbox One, noting that the game can be played with a smoother performance. It is further revealed that the game visuals are the same to that of the Xbox 360's, which make a sooner release more likely to happen.

As per Engadget, players can use their "Red Dead Redemption" Xbox 360 disc and download the update to secure access to the Xbox One version. The publication added that players who have the game's digital version can download it from the "my games and apps" section. According to the report, the procedure also applies to "Undead Nightmare" story expansion pack.

Rockstar Games has not revealed details on the title's exact release; hence, fans have yet to wait for the studio to cite the final release date for the game.

In terms of the delay of the release date of "Red Dead Redemption 2," a possible reason is that Rockstar Games did not confirm that a sequel was already in development, as per Tech Times. As per the publication, the studio might have teased that their eyes are on a new project, which does not necessarily connect to the forthcoming title.

Another reason why "Red Dead Redemption 2" is lagging behind when it comes to release updates is the possibility of Rockstar Games exploiting its work force on the development of its "Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Online," not to mention that the game is at its success peak at present.

For the time being, the exact release date of "Red Dead Redemption 2" is yet to be revealed.
