'Recore' News & Updates: Microsoft Reveals Game’s System Specifications, Features

Microsoft Studios and Amature Studio have revealed the system requirements and features for the action-adventure shooting video game "ReCore."

According to Microsoft's official webpage, the minimum system specifications include Windows 10 Operating System, 8 GB memory, Intel Core i5-4460 2.70 GHz or AMD FX-6300, 2 GB video memory, and Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon R7 GPU.

As for the recommended system specifications, they include a Windows 10 OS, 16 GB memory, Interl Core i5 4590, 3.9 GHz or AMD counterpart, 4 GB video memory, and Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 GPU.

"ReCore" is part of the Play Anywhere Program, so buying the game's digital copy for PC entitles the buyer to get a free digital copy on the Xbox One and then vice versa. As per Game Spot, this also suggests that players will be able to transfer save files between the two platforms and choose wherever they want to play the game.

Along with the specifications and details on digital copy purchase, it is added that "ReCore" is set to support both the keyboard and mouse for controls; however, Microsoft recommends using an Xbox One controller. In addition, the game includes Xbox Live features, allowing plaers to share game clips and challenge their friends online.

"ReCore" can be purchased at $39.99 or about $40, from $60. In a statement in TXR Podcast, Xbox marketing manager Aaron Greenberg explained that while the game came from a big name, it was set to come in September and it did not have an existing fan base. Hence, the studio is yet to build a fan base for the game.

"ReCore" is set to be released for the Xbox One and Microsoft Windows on Sept. 13.
