"It is a real advantage to have Cristiano [Ronaldo] playing for us," said Ancelotti to reporters.
"He is playing really well and he is in peak physical condition; he is extraordinarily motivated at the moment."
Previously, Real Madrid defeated FC Basel last month by a final score of 1-0 on November 26.
"The key is to keep up this consistency. We have to keep working like this and winning games," said Ronaldo's teammate Toni Kroos to reporters.
"What's most important isn't the record for wins, but keeping on winning every game."

Ludogorets skipper Georgi Dermendzhiev knows his team has a tough task of beating Real Madrid in front of the passionate Spanish football fans at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in their upcoming bout.
"I am delighted with the performance. The players are getting better and better with each game. We played really well tactically. We could have scored more and in the end we got a draw. The players believed we could win...We could have won in the last minute when Virgil Misidjan broke clear on the left but failed to make a good connection," said Dermendzhiev to reporters in reference to his side ending their previous game with Liverpool in a 2-2 tie on November 26.
"We are in the UEFA Champions League group stage for the first time and have played very well against the likes of Real Madrid, Liverpool and Basel. We are out now but will go to Madrid and play freely and with courage. Anything could happen."
