Real Madrid will battle FC Schalke 04 on February 18 at the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

Real Madrid is looking to continue their winning ways when they face FC Schalke 04 this Wednesday afternoon.

"No one gives himself airs, and there aren't any wise guys or prima donnas. We are a family concern, working well. In Munich people kept their distance. Here they go wild whenever they spot a Real Madrid player," said Real Madrid's German midfielder Toni Kroos in a recent interview with German newspaper company 'Bild am Sonntag'.

"No one goes there and wins as if the team counted for nothing, not even Real Madrid."

Previously, Real Madrid defeated Deportivo by a final score of 2-0 in their latest La Liga match on February 14.

"We are top of La Liga and the reigning champions in Europe," said Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti to reporters.

"It's true that we have not been brilliant in 2015, but I hope the return of the Champions League will bring out the best in us again."

Meanwhile, FC Schalke 04 is looking to defend their home field when they host Real Madrid at the Veltins-Arena.

"We have been working hard and Madrid are not unbeatable," said FC Schalke 04 striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting to reporters.

"Everything and anything can happen and that's why football is so special. We ideally don't want to draw or lose the home game.

Schalke were defeated by Eintracht by a final score of 1-0 in their latest Bundesliga match on February 14.
