'Real Housewives of New York' Season 7 Premiere Recap: Bethenny Frankel's Big Comeback

In the season premiere of Real Housewives of New York, the ladies appear to have forgotten completely about Aviva Drescher's prosthetic leg. Instead, the ladies were primarily focused on the return of Bethenny Frankel who had taken time off from the show for her own series and a talk show.

Apparently Bethenny's marriage to Jason Hoppy is on the rocks, although the two do not seem to be officially divorced. Jason is living in the couple's Tribeca apartment and she is living in the Essex House Presidential Suite.

In the premiere, the only other Housewife that Bethenny talks to is Luann. She invites her over for a casual dinner at the Presidential Suite, featuring several items from her brand, Skinnygirl.

According to Entertainment Weekly's website, "Luann has a new home in the Hamptons and is eager for the girls to all come out for a visit, She tells Bethenny and then announces this over dinner to Carole, Heather and Kristin."

Luann does not tell Sonja, as the two are still not getting along after Sonja's facialist gossiped about Luann and Sonja did not defend her.

Sonja is then shown having a gold leaf facial treatment, done by the same gossiping facialist and has two new interns, Connor and Rachel. She meets Ramon for lunch at Nello's on the Upper East Side and Ramona hopes that she can talk to Sonja about her failing marriage to Mario.

Sonja does not have the time, so we are introduced to Dorinda, the newest member of the Real Housewives cast. Carole is having some trouble meeting her deadlines for her new book, and in a meeting with her editor, they threaten to put her on a writing schedule.
