‘Real Housewives of New York’ Recap Spoilers: Bethenny Frankel Shares About 'Excruciating' Divorce

This past Tuesday's episode featured Part One of the reunion of The Real Housewives of New York City, and all eyes were focused on Bethenny Frankel's return.

"LuAnn made a toast to bringing you down," Heather Thomson told Bethenny. She was talking about a luncheon that she'd had with LuAnn de Lesseps before the season's filming had started. She poked fire with:

"She was not excited about Bethenny coming back."

This was greeted with denials and confirmations that Bethenny had ruffled a few feathers in the previous season before she left.

When she was asked outright by Andy Cohen if she was, indeed, divorced, she denied it. She said it was a long drawn-out affair of over three years, which was longer than she had been married.

"There's no way for people to know what's really going on," Bethenny stated. She described the process as "excruciating" and echoed Ramona Singer's words when she described it as "emotional torture." She said she could not discuss the details due to legal issues as the process was still in process.

Bethenny did share that:

"When you bring someone into fame ... they see the shiny object and want the shiny object ... then when they can't get it, they don't want you to have it."

Carole agreed that Jason Hoppy, Frankel's estranged husband, liked to play "mind games." She shared that, "He won't answer the phone," when Bethenny tries to call her 4-year-old daughter at times appointed to her.

The mention of head games turned the spotlight onto Sonja Morgan. Her habit for kissing her females cast mates when drunk prompted Andy to ask her if she was bisexual.

She dodged the question and continued to dodge further questioning with evasive answers.

She became outright defensive when talk turned to her drinking, lashing out with the fact that other cast members were also known to abuse alcohol.

A fight broke out between LuAnn and Carole with the both of them accusing the other of improper behavior, and the episode ended, yet again, with ladies fuming at each other.

The Real Housewives of New York City reunion Part 2 will air at 8 pm on Tuesday on Bravo.
