'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Teresa Giudice News: Husband Joe Giudice Banned from Driving for Two Years
Joe Giudice, star of Real Housewives of New Jersey, has already got enough on his plate, with his wife, Teresa Giudice, already in prison.
However, on Thursday, a judge gave Giudice the maximum penalty in his identity fraud case, as well as banned him for driving for two years and fined him $10,000 for attempting to use his brother's identification to get a driver's license while his was suspended.
Joe asked the judge, Judge Adam E. Jacobs, if he would at least be allowed to move this car in his driveway, and the judge replied with a firm "No."
According to E Online! Judge Jacobs said to Giudice: "If you so much as back down your driveway... That will constitute a violation of the conditions if your release, of your bail, and it will result in you being remanded immediately to Passaic County Jail."
Joe pleads guilty to unlawful use of an ID and impersonation, for which he received an 18 month sentence in prison.
However, he has been allowed to serve that time with his 41 month federal prison sentence for bankruptcy fraud and failure to file income tax returns, according to E Online!
Joe's driving record, which Judge Jacobs called "mind-boggling", includes 39 license suspensions.
The judge stated that he did not want to accept the plea deal due to Joe's apparent "general disrespect for the law", but did not want to put the four Giudice girls at a disadvantage. Joe is the girls' primary caregiver, while their mother is serving her prison sentence, also for bankruptcy fraud.
