'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star, Kim Richards checked herself out of a rehabilitation facility in Malibu, where she was receiving treatment for alcoholism.

Richards had originally checked herself in for a three month long program, but apparently has decided that just one month was enough.

In April, she was involved in an altercation at the Polo Lounge, which caused her to be arrested for public intoxication, among other things.

After this incident, she checked herself into a treatment center in order to get help for her addiction.

According the Richards, the plan was to stay for three months in order to get the help that she needs, but according to a report from TMZ, Richards departed from the rehabilitation center in the middle of the night, citing the fact that she did not like the staff as the reason for her sudden disappearance.

Sources reported to the outlet that Richards was indeed butting head with the doctors, and other members of the staff at the facility, which is why she chose not to complete her three month goal.

Another source told Radar Online, that she resisted efforts of everyone in the program to get her to stay and continue her rehabilitation.

"Kim said that she was finally cured and is ready to get on with her life because she has so many projects right now and inpatient rehab does not fit into her schedule," the insider told Radar Online.

Richards will continue with outpatient treatment. It may be more than a coincidence that Richards waited until her entire family was away celebrating niece Nicky Hilton's wedding to make this decision.
