Kim Richards, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reality television star, fell off the wagon in a scandalous run in with police last month. Her sister, Kathy Hilton, says that she could not be more proud of Richards, her sister, after she entered rehab shortly after the incident.

At the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund's 2^nd annual Super Saturday event, sponsored by FIJI Water in Los Angeles, Hilton told reporters that her sister was doing well in rehab.

"She's great," said Hilton. "She's doing really, really well. I'm very proud of her. She decided on her own to go."

Richards made the decision after she was arrested on April 16, on charges of public intoxication, trespassing, resisting an officer and battery on a police officer.

Richards admitted that she does suffer from alcohol addiction to Dr. Phil McGraw, stating that she just wants to do the right thing and be the strongest person that she can be.

The star took a brief leave from rehab this week in order to make an appearance at her daughter, Brooke Brinson's, bridal shower.

A source close to Richards told People magazine that she is excited for her daughter's wedding, which is taking place next weekend, and she will not be missing it.

It is still not clear whether Richards will be on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills next season, but she does say that the show has been a good experience for her.

Hilton advises her sister "to learn the tools to cope when there is something that's upsetting."
