Razzie Awards Nominations 2015: List of Contenders for Worst Movie of 2014 Released

The Golden Raspberry Awards Foundation nominates the top worst films every year, and for their 35th Annual Razzie Awards, we have been promised some real aces in the hole.

The nominees may have been ranked as the worst by critics and by fans, but they kind of fall under the "It's so Bad It's Good" category.

At the bottom of IMDB's list of 100 worst films in 2014 is Kirk Cameron's 'Saving Christmas', a film about how Kirk tries to cure his brother-in-law, Christian, of his Grinch-like hate of all things Christmas. Along with the 'Legend of Hercules', these two movies are considered shoe-ins for the award ceremonies come February.

Michael Bay's two features, 'Transformers: Age of Extinction' and 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' have also made the list, spurring great controversy. Screen Rant calls them the "love to hate" blockbusters, although according to the Raspberry Awards, they were just bad.

A few actors and actresses to make the list include: Nicolas Cage, Adam Sandler, and Drew Barrymore. The real surprise was Charlize Theron making the list from her role in 'A Million Ways to Die in the West', as she is usually praised for her performances.

If your favorite actor made the Raspberry Award Nominees list, don't give up on them yet! The Razzies has announced their premiere of the new category, The Razzie Redeemer Award, for actors who have turned their careers around. Jennifer Aniston has taken one of those spots as a former 4-time Razzie Nominee to a coveted nomination for Screen Actors Guild Award.

To see more, watch the Razzie Awards on February 21st.
